Same drawbacks (no legato, 3 mics) but half the price. I like the low end brass & REALLY dig the a4 contra-tbone ensemble, but if I had to get that sound I'd buy Performance Samples Caspian.
The sound design stuff sounds great but has the "Heavyocity fingerprint" on it I don't like my orchestra sounding like a developer (not so much of a problem with sound design / trailer fx, I love their percussion for instance). The dynamic range seems limited on all the other instruments too, sounding like 3 or maybe even only 2 layers were recorded. Reminded me of Auddict Octohorn which is one purchase I wish I could take back.
Same, easy pass although I didn't say anything on the VIC thread cause I didn't want to be a downer.
